• Which languages are offered?

I am your partner for outstanding translations of the English language.

 

• Which services are offered?

Apart from translations of texts, websites, videos or presentations I am offering proofreading of German-language and English-language texts. Furthermore I take over creative works for you with pleasure.  

 

• How long does a translation or creative work take?

It is not possible to indicate a fixed period. The duration depends substantially on the text volume and the topic. However it can be said that a translator needs approximately one hour for 250 words of an easy to understand text, i. e. you will receive short texts such as business letters latest on the next day.

• Which topics are offered?

All topics from A as in advertising to Z as in zoology are represented. I am especially attending to the translation of websites as well as the independent creation of texts according to customer specifications.

 

• Will translations and creative works be archived?

I archive all documents for you and your company for a period of 10 years so that you are always able to get access to older translations and to make changes and additions easily at any time. 

 

• Is my data protected?

Any data, any content of the communication between you and me as well as any content of documents are treated confidentially and reliably at any time. Third parties will under no circumstances become aware of them. Additionally I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA).

• What are creative works?

Creative works are the creation of files, documents or presentations as well as the writing of texts.

 

• Is an express services offered?

I guarantee the best quality also in case of an urgent order with very short deadlines. An additional effort is necessary within the deadline to ensure this quality and has to be considered in the price calculation.

 

• Which file format is required for the text to be translated?

The text to be translated can be in a PDF-format, image format or it can be a Microsoft or Open Office document. 

 

• How will I receive the services?

You will receive the finished translation, text editing or creative work within the agreed deadline via mail. If desired, you can receive your text also by post without additional charges. 

 

 

Questions concerning the payment processing

 

 

• How much do translations, proof-readings or a creative works cost?

The price for a translation or creative work depends on several factors and varies consequently from translation to translation. As a guide value the price of a translation amounts to 0.06 to 0.08 per word of the source text. The price for special cases such as the creation of a text is calculated per hour. • Which payment methods are available?

Payment will be made via bank transfer to the account indicated on the invoice.

 

• What are the terms of payment?

The invoice amount has to be paid within 14 days from date of invoice.

 

• Is there a minimum order value?

The value of an order does not matter. Your satisfaction is all that counts for me - in case of small orders as well as big orders. 

 

• How soon will I receive an estimate of costs?

You will receive an estimate of costs or an offer on the day of the inquiry.

 

• How will I receive the invoice?

You will receive the invoice via mail together with the translated file or creative work. If desired, you will receive the invoice by post without additional charges.
