Every single translation is different in its own way due to certain requirements and customer wishes. Therefore it is not possible to indicate a fixed price for a translation. Thus the price calculation varies from translation to translation. Subsequently you will find some criteria which influence the calculation. If you desire a detailed price calculation you can receive it after sending your text or your file indicating a desired delivery date. 

The price for a translation consists of following criteria: 

• Number of words (text volume)

• Specialist area
• Urgency of the translation (rush order)
• Extra charge for creative works (formatting, creation and writing of texts)

I created the following table to enable a rough idea of a price calculation for a translation: 

Text easy to understand without specialist area:                  0,05 € / word*

More demanding texts with specialist area:                          0,06 € / word*

Very specialized texts with research:                                      0,07 € / word*

Formatting, creation and writing 

of texts or files:                                                                        13,00 € / hour*

Special file format

The additional expenditure for the conversion of a file has to be considered in the price calculation if it is only available in special file formats but require another final format. This is for example the translation from a Word document in an Excel file.

Proofreading, creative works and text editing

There is no opportunity to calculate the time and effort for the proofreading, the editing as well as for creative works in advance. That is why in some cases the price is calculated per hour instead of the number of words. Hereby the above-mentioned criteria will be included in the price calculation. 

Rush orders

I guarantee only the best quality even in case of an order with a short deadline. To ensure this quality within that period an additional effort is necessary which will of course flow into the price calculation.

Minimum order value

The value of an order does not matter. Your satisfaction is all that counts for me - in case of small orders as well as big orders.
